We are a gamified education platform that rewards high school and college athletes for getting real world education in four key areas: financial literacy, mental health well-being, brand building, and career transition. All modules are taught by a representational array of professional athletes, entrepreneurs and industry experts.
How do you set yourself apart from other firms in the area?
We are advocates for the athletes and their institutions; therefore, our fees are minimal. Additionally, all educational topics have been developed based on the athletes’ insights and needs.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?
Taking a truly mission driven vision to life.
How do you define success?
Sucess is measured in 3 key manners:
- Did we help educate an athlete and positively affect their life?
- Have we contributed something positive to society while also contributing to the well-being of the company and our investors?
- Can I look at myself in the mirror and be proud that I’m balancing out karma and making up for previous mistakes?
What is the most important lesson you’ve learned over your career?: The only person you can trust implicitly is yourself. You are solely responsible for the choices you make; being influenced by a partner, friend, or even family does not mean the choice you make is the right one. Trust yourself; verify everything else.
