How do you define success?
Success is living in fullness and helping others do the same. It means aligning purpose with impact and creating outcomes that positively affect future generations. Financial wealth matters, but true success encompasses spiritual, mental, emotional, relational, physical, and financial well-being. I measure success not by what I accumulate, but by the lives transformed and the legacy created.
How did you get started in your field of work?
My first business was as a personal trainer. Next, after earning my MBA, I started teaching people how to apply the habits of physical fitness to business. Next, after completing a financial planning program, I started teaching people how to apply the habits of physical fitness to personal finances..
What was the most impactful moment of your transition out of the military?
The most impactful realization was that leadership does not begin or end with a rank or title. I went from being an Infantry Officer and Ranger, leading soldiers in environments where the mission and structure were very clear, to a civilian world where I had to redefine how I created value.
That transition taught me to translate military leadership into business leadership: understand the mission, assess the environment, develop people, make decisions with incomplete information, and build systems that continue to perform without depending on one individual.
Those lessons ultimately shaped my career as a CFO, wealth advisor, entrepreneur, executive coach, and AI consultant.
What differentiates you from the competition?
We integrate AI, leadership, finance, and household economics into one practical system. Our approach begins with diagnosis, teaches people how to think, and builds capacity rather than pushing one-size-fits-all solutions.
What is the most important lesson you’ve learned over your career?
That success without alignment is costly. True leadership begins with stewardship—of faith, time, people, and resources. When purpose leads, results follow in a way that creates peace, impact, and legacy.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?
My greatest accomplishment is building a framework that helps people align leadership, purpose, and financial strategy. Through my work and my book, Life Is Rich: How to Create Lasting Wealth, I’ve been able to help individuals begin thinking about wealth not just as income or assets, but as a disciplined system that includes leadership, stewardship, and long-term impact across families and communities.
What nonprofit do you have a heart for and how do you support it?
I have a heart for organizations that expand access to education, entrepreneurship, and opportunity—particularly for veterans, underserved families, and future leaders. I support through mentorship, strategic advising, board-level guidance, and helping organizations build sustainable systems rather than short-term solutions.
What’s your favorite way to get involved in the community?
I enjoy mentoring leaders, teaching financial and leadership principles, and partnering with local organizations to help people move from survival to stewardship. I’m especially passionate about helping individuals align faith with practical action in their homes, businesses, and communities.
If you could be remembered for one thing, what would it be?
Helping people realize they were created to live in fullness—and giving them the clarity, confidence, and tools to steward their lives, leadership, and resources in a way that honors God and serves others.
How has your business changed in the past 12 months?
Over the past 12 months, Life Is Rich Global has evolved from primarily providing executive coaching and financial education into a more integrated platform combining AI, leadership, finance, and household economics. One of our biggest developments has been the expansion of the Household Economic System™, which teaches families to think beyond budgeting and begin managing their household as an economic system. We are also helping leaders and organizations use AI not simply as a technology tool, but as a decision-making and productivity advantage. The business is becoming less centered on individual services and more focused on scalable systems, intellectual property, leadership development, and a larger mission to help one million families increase their financial capacity.
Describe a Failure in your Career
One of my biggest career lessons came from realizing that being knowledgeable, hardworking, and successful individually does not automatically mean you have built something scalable. At different points in my career, I could personally solve problems, generate revenue, manage complexity, and carry significant responsibility. But I learned that if the system depends too heavily on you, you have created a demanding job—not necessarily an enduring enterprise. That realization changed how I lead. Today I focus much more intentionally on developing people, documenting systems, creating intellectual property, using technology intelligently, and building organizations that can perform beyond the founder. Failure taught me that leadership is not measured by how much I can carry. It is measured by how much capacity I can create in others.
What about your company makes you the most proud
I am most proud that our work is ultimately about people, not transactions. Life Is Rich Global was built around the belief that wealth should be measured by more than money. I teach people to pursue fullness spiritually, mentally, emotionally, relationally, physically, and financially. Today, that philosophy is becoming a practical economic mission. We are working to help families understand how income, taxes, expenses, health, technology, consumption, ownership, and leadership interact. What makes me proud is seeing someone move from confusion to understanding, from dependency to greater capacity, or from simply surviving financially to believing they can create something meaningful for the next generation. Our goal is not merely to help people make more money. It is to help people become better stewards of their lives, resources, opportunities, and influence.
How do you motivate people to give their best?
I start with purpose. People rarely give their best simply because someone tells them to work harder. They give their best when they understand why the work matters, believe they are capable of succeeding, and can see how their contribution connects to something larger than themselves. My leadership approach is to educate before expecting execution. I want people to understand the mission, the standard, and the reasoning behind the strategy. I also believe in accountability. Encouragement without standards does not develop people, and standards without empathy do not inspire them. My goal is to create leaders who can think, make decisions, solve problems, and eventually teach others. One of the principles I use is: KNOW → STUDY → DO → TEACH. When people develop both competence and ownership, motivation becomes much more sustainable.
What is your “why”? What drives you to do what you do every day?
At 19, when I walked the perimeter during Operation Desert Storm, I said ‘Lord if you allow me to make it back, then I’ll never waste a day of my life.’ #LifeIsRich means ‘I Live In Fullness Everyday because I Realize I Am Christ’s Heir’. I am in business to instill this belief in others so they can live in fullness everyday – spiritually, mentally, emotionally, relationally, physically, and financially.
What lessons from sports have you applied to your personal life and career?
Sports taught me that discipline beats motivation, preparation creates confidence, and teams outperform individuals. Whether competing in athletics, serving as an Army Ranger, or leading businesses, I’ve learned that success comes from mastering fundamentals, executing consistently, and putting the mission above personal recognition. Sports also taught me resilience: you don’t lose when you’re knocked down—you lose when you stop getting up.
What strategies do you use to improve your performance?
I focus on continuous learning, intentional reflection, and data-driven decision-making. I begin with purpose, establish clear metrics, and create systems that drive consistent execution. I prioritize physical health, faith, and daily habits because leadership performance is holistic. I also leverage AI to increase efficiency and decision quality while maintaining a people-first approach.
Can You Discuss a Time When You Had to Work with a Team to Achieve a Goal?
One of the most formative experiences was serving as an Infantry Officer and Ranger in the U.S. Army. Military operations require diverse teams to operate under pressure with limited information and high stakes. Success depended on trust, communication, and shared purpose. Every member had a role, and leadership meant empowering others while remaining accountable for the mission. I’ve carried those lessons into business. As a former CFO and now CEO of Life Is Rich Global, I’ve led teams across finance, real estate, technology, and wellness initiatives. Whether building organizations, advising executives, or helping families improve their economic outcomes, I’ve learned that extraordinary results happen when leaders create clarity, align incentives, and develop people to reach their full potential. Those experiences reinforced a principle I live by: leadership isn’t about being the hero—it’s about developing heroes who can lead others.

What’s The Biggest Challenge you are facing in your business or industry?
One of the biggest challenges is helping people move beyond simply consuming artificial intelligence tools and begin applying them strategically. Many individuals are overwhelmed by the rapid pace of technological change. Our focus is helping leaders integrate AI with sound leadership principles and financial intelligence so they can use technology to strengthen their households, businesses, and communities rather than simply reacting to it.
How do you see your field evolving in the next 3-5 years
Over the next several years, artificial intelligence will become embedded in nearly every industry. The real differentiator will not be access to AI tools, but leadership and strategic thinking. The leaders who succeed will be those who combine human judgment, ethical leadership, and financial intelligence with the speed and capability that AI provides. This shift will create enormous opportunity for entrepreneurs and organizations that are prepared to adapt and lead.

One of the most significant trend setters in the field of artificial intelligence is Sam Altman. His leadership has helped accelerate the development and accessibility of AI technologies that are transforming how individuals and organizations work, learn, and innovate.
