Short company description:

Growth Craft is a data-driven marketing agency helping businesses grow online through websites, paid advertising, SEO, and conversion optimization. We focus on measurable results and building marketing systems that actually drive revenue.

What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?

“My greatest accomplishment is building a business that delivers genuinely high-quality work on strong professional foundations. I’m especially proud that I’ve been able to do this with an exceptional team. There may be many people in this industry, but finding truly great colleagues who share the same standards, mindset, and commitment to quality is incredibly rare. For me, building and working with that kind of team is one of the achievements I value most.

Describe a Failure in your Career

One of our biggest failures was realizing that while our system worked well initially, it wasn’t built to scale. As we grew, operational tasks started piling up, and I became deeply involved in day-to-day execution instead of focusing on strategic leadership. This created bottlenecks and slowed down our overall progress.

Can you give an example of an AI-powered tool or strategy that’s made a significant impact on your work?

Übersuggest with writing SEO contents. Inuse ChatGPT to boost my linkedin posts and most of my post get really good impressions in my country. Also ChatGPT wrote such a good ad copies that had better CVR than manually wtittwn ones.

What’s The Biggest Challenge you are facing in your business or industry?

One of the biggest challenges is that the barrier to entry in marketing is very low, which makes the market quite saturated. There are a lot of people who are better at selling themselves than actually delivering results. Because of that, it’s harder to build trust, harder to justify your pricing, and many clients have already had bad experiences with previous agencies. We often meet ‘marketing-burned’ clients who are skeptical from the start, so a big part of our job is rebuilding that trust before we can even start delivering real value.

How do you see your field evolving in the next 3-5 years

I see two major shifts happening in the next 3–5 years, both driven by AI. First, AI will significantly increase efficiency. It will make our work faster and more scalable, but to truly benefit from it, you still need strong fundamentals. AI builds on existing knowledge, it doesn’t replace it. Second, we’ll see a growing gap between professionals. Many will try to compensate for a lack of expertise with AI, which will lead to more disappointing results for clients. While AI itself will keep improving and elevate average output, it still won’t match the level of those who combine it with real, deep knowledge. So overall, AI won’t level the playing field, it will actually widen the gap between average and truly skilled marketers.

Who in your industry do you see as a trend setter and why

I’d highlight people like Neil Patel, Gábor Wolf, and Gábor Papp. They consistently stay up to date with the latest trends and, more importantly, they translate those into practical insights you can actually apply. They’re not just following the industry, they actively shape how others think about marketing. I believe a true trendsetter is someone you can continuously learn from, and they’ve been exactly that for me.

Speaker 2 (Patrick)
Thank you for having me.

Speaker 1 (Morgan)
So tell me a little bit about Growth Craft and what you guys do.

Speaker 2 (Patrick)
Growth Craft is a data-driven marketing agency that helps businesses grow their revenue. What makes our approach different is that we see marketing as a system. Most agencies focus on one or two channels, like PPC or social media, but they don’t look at the bigger picture.

Today, online marketing is more complex than ever. You have PPC, websites, email marketing, SEO, analytics, social media, AI, and more. And if they don’t work together, you are simply leaving money on the table.

So what we do is connect these pieces into a system and make them work together effectively. From websites to Google Ads and more, we work across the entire marketing landscape, which allows us to support the full customer journey from the first click to the final conversion.

Analytics is a core part of our work because proper measurement helps us make smart decisions and allows platforms to optimize effectively. Most of our clients are based in Hungary, but we work internationally as well. I, along with some of my colleagues, have several years of experience in the US market, and at the end of the day, everything we do is focused on measurable results.

Speaker 1 (Morgan)
Beautiful. And that is so important, being able to measure everything that you guys are doing, because I’ve noticed in the marketing industry, when it’s not trackable, it’s not successful. So what are some of the things that you’re noticing have been driving the most success for your clients?

Speaker 2 (Patrick)
We have to start from the basics, such as building buyer personas and using measurement in all of our campaigns. When we start working with a client, the first step is understanding the business and the market as deeply as possible.

We define target audiences, turn them into clear buyer personas, map out the customer journey, and set up conversion tracking. Because you can lose a lot of money if you miss the basics in marketing.

Speaker 1 (Morgan)
Yeah, you really can. So whenever someone is starting a new business, what is the first step that you would recommend for them?

Speaker 2 (Patrick)
I would recommend sitting down and thinking about your business and your target audience, and writing down everything you can about your potential buyers.

There are a lot of good buyer persona templates on the internet, and you can use one of them. Even tools like ChatGPT can help you build your custom buyer persona, but you can do a part of it yourself.

If you understand what you want to sell, who your target audience is, and how you want to sell to them, then you can start planning your marketing strategy.

Speaker 1 (Morgan)
Fantastic. Absolutely. I think it is so important to know exactly who you’re targeting and how you’re going to speak to them. Branding is just so important these days.

But I heard you talk about ChatGPT. So how are you utilizing AI in this growing and changing industry?

Speaker 2 (Patrick)
For me, AI is like a game from the past called Super Mario. In that game, Mario had a mushroom, and when he got it, it increased his abilities and gave him superpowers.

For me, and I think for others, AI systems increase our effectiveness and our knowledge. You still need a basic understanding, but AI platforms give you a boost.

It makes my work more effective. I can write ad copy much faster, and it gives me a huge advantage.

Speaker 1 (Morgan)
Yeah, it really does boost efficiency in so many different ways. Patrick, thank you so much for joining us today. If people want to learn more about Growth Craft, how can they do so?
